GEPF IS A ****ER: SEE EVIDENCE BELOW

My father was a principal and he passed away. He was a dedicated man and also was loyal to his work at school, the only breadwinner. When he passed away he left his three wives, and 19 children. He passed away in May 2013. The application for death benefits was done after his passing same year. I have been doing the followups since the claim was made, its confirmed that most of the time the file was still stuck at Departments of Education, and only reached the Gepf offices only in December 2016. The follow-ups continued still until the 05th July 2017 where some of the beneficiaries got their payment including myself. But there were beneficiaries who did not get their benefits My mother N.P is the first wife and my eldest brother and my youngest stepmother ( late dad's third wife) did not get their benefits. In total they were five who didn't get their money including two younger siblings who got their money soon after follow ups done.

My mother the eldest wife has not got her money till to date, it has been now a month since others got their shares. Imagine suspense ****ing her, humiliation and emabarra*****t of expecting the unknown till to date. Each day that passes she gets hope that maybe she'll get a notification that her money is in, at the sane time when that doesn't happen her hope daily grows dim. When I did the follow-up why her money was not paid it was said that her money was sent to the Master of the high court by mistake. They said she'll have to wait as they claim a money back from the Master of a high court, which doesn't make sense as if it was the only money available to pay her. Soon after the early fpllowups done after others received their monies its was said that those who didn't receive their money should resubmit the Z894(bank forms) which they did via Regional office Pietermaritzburg and via post, after every action I would make followups to check receipt. I checked they at Gepf Pretoria they confirmed receipt of documents in order. With the followups done again another mistake was discovered and admitted by Gepf that they had allocated the monthly pension to the second wife who is the only one amongst the wives who received her money so far till todate. They admitted yet nothing was done to rectify the mistake. I had been doing followups on weekll basis and sometimes thrice a week seeing since the time others got their money and the matter has not been resolved, my mother is still waiting she had recently started getting frequent headaches and this has affected her psychologically.

I sent an email to Gepf complaints department explaining the reality of my mother's current state of being affected by this disaster. They responded and showed interest in helping yet they latter neglected this case. I have emails that I have sent and their responses. No one seem to be taking this matter seriously while its ****ing the waiting beneficiaries. On the last call I made to Gepf on the 07/08/2017 as usual getting through to different consultants each day, Peter who answered my call said the system couldn't open up , he promised to call me back at 15:50. I left my numbers as usual, he never called. These follow-ups and emails seems to be not getting any serious attention now. It seems as if they have all agreed to neglect the case, while my mother is slowly but surely being affected by this waiting and expecting the unknown. I have been recording the called and follow-ups that I have been doing ever since, I have names and dates of the consultants, some I couldn't get their names because of their impatience and no willingness to assist.

Below is a few list of the consultants and the dates where follow-ups were made on this current year 2017: 01/02/2017 Nyaku confirmed that file have been received from DOE on the 21/12/2016, on the 22/02/2017 Thabang said file is at payment section, on the 13/04/2017_Precious answered the call said the file is nearly at the final stage.

After the money was released again follow-ups were done as stated above, on the 06/07/2017 Mpho Mphokane answered said they'll call back, they never did, on the 07/07/2017 the followup wss made Maria answered the call, on 10/07/2017 Desry answered , on the 17 Louse answered the call, on the 20/ Arena answered the call, and same 20/07/2017 Brenda answered the second followup call, on the 21/07/201+ Louse answered th followup call, on ghr second followup call same day the 21/07/2017 Azina Masemola answered the call, on the 26/07/2017 Tebogo answered the follow-up call, on the 04/08/2017

Arena answered my followup call on my last call 07/08/2017 Peter answered my call. Out of all the cals listed above, the matter is still not resolved, I have also been sending emails to Tebogo and Venessa Heenop still the matter is not getting attention. My mother is still suffering the wait and I explained clearly on the emails about her reality. They seemed to be understanding and empathetic but now they have also just neglected even after I asked them to please keep updating daily about the file progress , they agreed and never did. I have come to a point where I don't understand Gepf at a, and have come go conclude that the statement syinv that there are lots of unclaimed monies from Gepf is not true. I conclude that people claim but Gepf doesn't process peoples' claims and they never make follow-ups and updates to the the applicants, members and beneficiaries. I wish this could be over.I don't understand so many mistakes done by Gepf.
