GEPF have application for 8 months

My partner passed away in February 2015. Dept Correctional Services took 7 months to submit the application to GEPF. Government Employees Pension Fund has had the application since August 2015 (8 months ago). I got 2 letters in October 2015 saying that everything had been approved and that the application was been referred to the payment division. Since then I have been unable to get any constructive feedback on the status or when the payout will occur.
