GEPF delay in payout

I am aggrieved with how this department has handled my query. I left the employ of Social Development in February 2020 and to this day I am still awaiting my payout. I have been impoverished by this department and even when informing them that I am due to immigrate and I cannot leave the country without these funds I was still treated like a mere pension number and not a human being. My emails at some point were left unanswered because clearly I was being assertive about the matter and they only responded when I threatened to escalate the matter. I have been made to feel as though I am requesting financial aid. It is appalling how this matter has been handled...the lack of Batho Pele principles has left a bitter taste in my mouth and I do not see myself ever returning to SA in future and working for a government department and I would gladly encourage anyone not to do so because when the time comes for GEPF to pay out they will probably put your application under their desks and continue to receive salaries regardless of their lack of s**** and efficiency. Never have I come across such poor service delivery
