please can you assist me as i don't get any results form anyone. I am Marie Zeelie, I have resigned from SARS the end of May 2020. I did gave all my paper work to HR in the last week of April 2020. HR told me it will take about 6 to 8 weeks before I going to received my money. It is know 11 weeks with no money. Every week when I phone HR they informed me that GEPF informed them that they are working on it. I even send mails to GEPF and phone them but no respond from them. I have started working in SARS on the 15/08/2020 and resigned on the 31/05/2020. my salary number is ***. My member number for GEPF is ***8. Please will you assist me regarding this matter as I need to borrow money form family member for my monthly expenses. This was the mail I send to Dipuo Motsepe (***) and Frank Starke (***)

Only Dipuo came back with this mail that he send; 12 August 2020; Good day Marie Kindly note that your case has been referred to our Contributions section, as it shows a variation in contributions. There's possible overpayment. As soon as the section is done correcting and there's nothing outstanding from Employer, they will send it through to payment section for finalization.

Then I send Dipuo a mail back on the 12 August 2020. Good day Dipuo Thank you for your mail and response. Please explain what you mean by "variations in contributions". Does it mean that there was more deducted from my contributions and a refund is due? I need to know when this matter will be resolved and you earnest attention to this matter will be greatly appreciated.

On the 13th August 2020 Dipuo send a mail; Good day

That is not what I am saying. Can we kindly allow the experts to deal with the matter and once resolved. I will further advice.

I send him a mail back on the 24 August 2020. Good morning Please can you tell me how long this matter is going to take for the experts to resolve. This matter is going on for too long now, I don't get any positive answers. If I don't get any result by the end of today I have now choice to take this matter further.

Then Dipuo send mail back on the 24 August 2020; Good day Marie You are free to escalate the matter Mam, if you do not find joy from my response. All I am doing is providing feedback on what I am seeing on the system. Maybe it's best that you request your HR to provide you with details of you CLO so that you can make further follow ups with her. On a lighter note kindly not that your application is on progress. Contributions is done and matter sorted, then Membership also done. Case has now been routed to our legal section cause there's legal correspondence received.

I send Dipuo a mail back on the 24 August 2020. Good day Dipuo Thank you for your feedback I really appreciate it. Will you please notify me if you here anything from the legal department.

Then he send mail back on the 24 August 2020. It's best that you check with me weekly as I am overseeing more that 10 departments and attending to lots of queries daily, therefore I cannot recall each and every case.

I have talked to out HR on Monday the 31 August 2020 and she told me that there is a list of people that also resigned the same day as I am. Also not received there money. The list is know at the commissioner to see what he can do to get our money. Every week I am hearing another story. I do not know what to do. I really need the money. Can you please help me again.
