GEPF complaint

Hello Peter its Martie Malan. I worked at the State for 29 years and I resigned on the 31st of October 2020. I have sent an application for State subsidy on numerous occasions to the GEPF but the GEPF has still not approved my application for State subsidy. Their reason : that I have resigned and that I have to apply for new membership of GEMS - Goverment Employees Medical Scheme..but I did not resign, I went on State pensioen. I submitted all the relevant documents for membership to Gems and form Z583 for State subsidy of to GEPF and GEMS. To this date ( 5months + 15 days) my application for State subsidy is stiil not approved. The full amount that I have to pay to GEMS for membership is R3911 per month - without State subsidy. If my State subsidy is approved it will be more or less R2300 less. I can not afford to pay the full amount every month of R3911. I NEED STATE SUBSIDY. Can you please assist me so that my State subsidy application is approved by GEPF- Goverment Employees Pension Fund. Thank you, Mrs M.Malan
