does the GEPF even exist?
Earlier this year (in February 2015) my position was made permanent. I was so ecstatic! For the last four months the GEPF (Government Employee Pension Fund) has been deducting plus-minus R3000 from my salary for my pension but I do not even have a pension number. I have sent mails to the GEPF [Email Removed] and I have phoned them ***) but they haven't responded to any of my mails (dating back to 02/02/2015) and when you phone the 0800 number it says \we are experiencing high volume calls..please stay on the line..."This is strange because whenever I dial the 0800 number I am never assisted. Where/to whom is my money being paid to? """
