Diferent stories from different agents

I resigned at the end of August 2015 and the GEPF has acknowledged that they have received all my docs on the 28 August 2015. On Monday the 19th of Oct I was told that it went for bank verification after which a tax directive will be requested. I was also informed that my case has been finalized on the 14th of Oct and loaded on the system. A tax directive from SARS should be at the most 48 hours as it is done via e-filing. On Thursday the 22nd of Oct my previous HR contacted them and they where informed that GEPF is awaiting the directive and it can take a week due to the amount. I then also phone the same day to be informed that they haven't app**** for the directive as yet. The next day Friday the 23rd of Oct I phoned again to be informed that my file has been sent back to contributions for as they need to verify my salary band. The agent told me that this is unusual and he hasn't seen this before. My file has been finalized by contributions in September already. This unnecessary delay is having a major impact on my finances. I will appreciate it if I can get the real reason for the delay as well as a time frame by when it will be finalized. I urgently need the funds.
