Delay tactics

I sent my resignation documents and they were received on 24 April 2019 at GEPF.according to them, it takes 4-8 weeks for processing.when I called to check in mid May, I was told all was well and my documents were waiting, no errors. I called again and was told they were awaiting my final salary, again, all was well.on 20 June 2019 I called again and was told my documents had been sent to eGov due to an error someone found on 19 June 2019. So, all that time since APRIL, no one found errors until MID JUNE!! Then I called again and was told it will take 60 days (ANOTHER TWO MONTHS!!) And this after a supposed "supervisor" assured me that the process would be expedited quickly once docs were returned from eGov due to the delay. What exactly is going on with GEPF?! They sit on paperwork, lie to clients and then wake up at the last minute and discover a so called error, only to delay again. In other words, Im now expected to wait a total of 6 MONTHS (if Im lucky I guess) for something they've had SINCE APRIL! Then the call centre consultants respond in robotic monotone and cant understand why Im upset- if it were their money someone's messing with they wouldnt be that relaxed. Unacceptable. They dont mind accumalating interest from my fund, it seems and think its fine to lie and delay.
