Delay in Pension Pay out
My Late mother, TA Malise ( ID No ***) Pension No(***2) passed away on the 29th June 2015 and the application towards her pension fund claim, with all the necessary and required documents, was brought forward on the 7th of July 2015 to Mr Ravhura ( ***) at the Sibasa Cost centre. it has been almost 5 months with no reply or coorespondence from the GEPF. On the 2nd December 2015 i did a follow up with the GEPF call centre and I spoke with a lady named Thalitha and she brought to my attention that 5 months after the initial application, they still haven't received the application. I immediately contacted Mr Ravhura about the issue, who then told me that there is nothing he can do for me as the document have since been collected from his office.

I am utter disgusted and disappointed at the level at which this matter has been handled, it portrays the highest level of unproffessionalism and incompetence from government officials. apart from me and my family having been treated with disrespect and as third world citizens, we also have been humiliated by government as my mother's lagacy hangs in the balance and in doubt.
