Delay in finalizing pension payout

<p>early in September this year an error was detected on my late father's pension processing. the employer duly submitted the required information on 13 September 2016 and they were confirmed as received by GEPF on 18 October 2016. I have been calling weekly since 21 October to make a follow-up. the file has not been attended to since it was sent to the Contributions Section on 18 October. Each time i call i get told that there was an escalation made and the Contributions Section has not responded yet. and when i enquire electronically i always get the same templated response. Please quote the reference number shown above in all correspondence.</p> <p> </p> <p>Yours sincerely,</p> <p>Customer Relationship Management.</p> <p> </p> <p>No reason/explanation is given for the delay and now i am not even sure if the evidence submitted by the employer is sufficient enough and now that we approaching the festive period a lot of people will be taking leave meaning if the info submitted is not to the satisfaction of GEPF then this matter can only be attended to after mid-january. my sister has to register in the new year and now with this matter unresolved she runs the risk of not registering at all.</p> <p>Please Help!!!!</p>
