CLEAN BREAK DIVORCE: STILL AWAITING PAYMENT AFTER 6 MONTHS

In August 2020, the claim forms required to process the clean break divorce settlement were received by GEPF. My attorneys have signed receipt of the documentation. Only in November 2020, after months of phoning, did the GEPF formally acknowledge receipt of the documentation and promised to escalate processing due to the delay until that point in time. It is now mid February 2021, some 6 months after receipt, and I have been advised that the claim is now in the final stages of processing i.e. everything has been verified, signed off, SARS clearance obtained etc etc, therefore amount to be captured and payment to be made. This has been the feedback for the past 5 weeks now. I keep being told to phone back on Friday - good luck getting through to GEPF as the phone just rings. I have sent emails and these too have gone unanswered. Is there any Complaints Body governing the GEPF that you can refer your claim too, as from the GEPF website, they aim to settle all claims within 60 days of receipt.
