Claim Documents unattended at the back office

I have recently called GEPF call center and i have been told that the pension documents that we have submitted have been kept in the back office unattended to, why would the forms be kept in the back office for 30 days? We require those claims to be processed as soon as possible, the deceased children need to go to school. Why does GEPF not take the importance of claims not important? I am utterly disappointed that not even the call centre agent know the status of the claim. Would it possible that anyone can follow up on the forms and speed up the process?

Hi Lucille,
Thank you for the prompt feedback.
ID number: ********** 072080
Pension Number: ********** 0
Persal number: ********** 2/PG43
I tried to call GEPF call centre again today, as usual "we are experiencing high call volumes and we cannot take your request". Do you perhaps have any feedback on whether the claim request has been attended to as yet?
Regards,
Mmbere
