BAD SERVICE FROM GEPF

How long does it take for GEPF to pay money to people? I am very saddened by the fact that I am on the 4th month waiting for money from GEPF. When submitting my application I was told that payments take 60 days but now I am on 120 days. When calling their offices to track the status of my application I àm told that its on pàyments department but when I request to be transferred to them I am told that they cannot I must phone back the same day of the following week they will send an email to that department. Why is it that you must know someone in government offices inorder to be assisted on time? If you do not know anyone you can just pray that someone out there can have mercy/a concious to do what they are suppose to do. Why is it that we still surfer in this democratic South Africa?
