Appalled top say the least

<p>Good morning</p> <p> </p> <p>I am at my wits ends and have no where els to go then Hello Peter.. I dont like critisising people or bussinesses but this has now gone too far. I resigned from the WCED in 2009. After submitting my documents to the relevant parties straight after, months went pass with no communication from either the WCED or GEPF that they have recieved my documents or not. Years went pass and in Nov 2015 I get a call from the GEPF that my pension benefits has not been paid out because my ex employer never submitted a certain form... Up till then all fault layd with my ex employer. I then did everything from scratch and physically took all my forms to the WCED to be sent to the GEPF.... adn low and behold they lost it AGAIN!! So i calmly redid everything and sent it again.. Finally my forms were sent to the GEPF. This was all in July 2016. I got an sms from the GEPF somewhere in August that it has been processed. 5 September 2016 i recieved a letter from the GEPF through the post that states that my pension benefit will be paid out within 60 days of the date of the letter. Well 60 days have come and gone and still no pay out... I have been in contact with the GEPF every other day and every time is a different story. First it was at the contribution section, this was 3 months ago.. then it was at the legal department, this was 2 weeks ago. I phoned again and to my shock it was at the contributions department AGAIN... I phoned yesterday and it was said that it came back from the contribution department on 5 December and that I must phone back on Thursday (15 December) at 12pm.. ALL I WANT IS A DATE WHEN MY MONEY WILL BE PAID!!!!!!</p> <p> </p> <p>I have given the GEPF the benefit of the doubt all this time but this is ridiuculous! Your offices close the 23rd of December 2016 and open the 3rd of January 2017..... will this be finalised and paid before then????????????</p> <p> </p> <p>I understand there is a back log but surely there should be a system in place to make sure things get done on time. Do not send me signed letters saying that payment WILL happen WITHIN 60 days if you know for a fact that it will not happen.. Dont give people hope and then just ignore their requests. ESPECIALLY NOT OVER THE FESTIVE SEASON!!!!!</p> <p> </p> <p>I will appreciate if anyone can give me exact answers to my questions.</p>
