Always high call volumes and do not respond emails
My mom passed away on 27 November 2014. I am the executor of her estate. The GEPF paid her pension into her bank account at the end of November. They then reversed it again on 12 December 2014. I got a letter that the estate owed them the December pension which according to them was also paid into her bank account. This is not true. I've sent emails and a registered letter with an Absa bank statement to proof it. The GEPF owes the estate the November pension which they reversed in December. The pensioner is eligible to the pension up to the last day of the month in which they passed away. I also need tax certificatea from 2012 - 2015. I was on the line for 15 minutes again this morning with no success. High call volumes.... Her PF Nr: CP***2

Kindly be advised that the late member's monthly pension was paid into her account on the 1st working day of each month. Please note that the 1st of November 2014 fell on a Saturday, therefore the monthly pension for November was paid out on the 31/10/2014.
According to the system, no monies are due to the GPAA or the Estate.
Please note that we are unable to print tax certificates as our Tax section is currently busy with their year-end reconciliation with SARS.
We will only be able to print tax certificates when the reconciliation is finalized. Our office would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused.
