3 months waiting for my banking details to be updated.

I submitted all required documents in April to update my banking details,was told that the first payment on my new account will be done end of June. Mid June I decided to close my old account due to high bank charges come month end nothing reflected on my new account,I called and was told they haven't updated yet. It's July and still they haven't updated my banking details,this will be my second month not getting payment and I'm not working. When you call you no one gives you an answer of what causes the delay😭. I sent an email on the 28th June till date they haven't responded.
