3 months later Funeral Benefit is still not paid out - Appalling

My mother passed away on 23 June 2021. The Government Employees Pension Fund gives R15 000 towards funeral costs. A day after my mothers passing I called the GEPF and informed them of this and filled out forms to claim for my mothers funeral benefits. This should take between 3 – 7 days, but they told me it would take 21 days. Almost 3 months later, after numerous phone calls and emails, I have still not received the funeral benefit. I had to borrow the money for my mothers funeral – I’m not sure what would have happened to my mother's body if I could not do this! Please will you assist me in getting this money from the GEPF, so I can pay the person back I lent the money from.
