When Great Service Outshines the Sun

I remember being absolutely desperate to get a reliable and cost-effective solar system for my home. Between the ever-increasing electricity bill and those surprise power cuts that always seem to happen at the worst possible time, something had to change.

After a bit of online searching, I stumbled across GoSolar. To be completely honest, their prices immediately made me suspicious. They were so competitive that my first thought was, "There's no way this can be real!" As any responsible overthinker would do, I went straight to the reviews. Unfortunately, some of what I read about post-installation service didn't exactly fill me with confidence.

Still, I thought, "Maybe my experience will be different."

And thankfully, it was.

About 7 or 8 months ago, I called the GoSolar call centre and spoke to Palesa Baholo. I remember telling her outright that the online reviews had me nervous. Without hesitation, she assured me that she would personally make sure my experience was smooth from start to finish — from placing the order right through to post-installation support.

Well, here I am months later, happy to report that she kept her word.

The installation process was seamless, the support has been great, and my electricity bill no longer gives me mini heart attacks every month. In fact, I'm currently in the process of upgrading my system to cope with the increased winter demand.

So, for anyone reading this and spending hours scrolling through reviews (like I did), remember that reviews can give you an idea of what to expect, but they don't always determine your own experience. Sometimes one person can completely change the story.
