Threathening paying clients, pathetic service no professionalist at all , poor client service

To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding the unacceptable service I have received from GoSolr following the cancellation of my subscription. I cancelled my subscription and was informed that I needed to pay a cancellation fee of R23 000. I made this payment immediately and sent the proof of payment to your finance department on the same day. I was advised that I would receive a call from Sparki Solar, your subcontractor, to arrange the de‑installation of the system. To my surprise, no one contacted me—not even a basic acknowledgement. I eventually had to follow up myself to ask when the system would be de‑installed. What is even more concerning is that my account was debited again after I had already paid the R23 000, even though it was confirmed that no further debit orders would go off because the de‑installation fee had been paid. Shortly after that, I received an email from a law firm I have no prior dealings with, demanding that I send them proof of payment. I refused, as I have no contractual relationship with them, and I had already submitted the POP directly to GoSolr. Despite this, I am now receiving messages claiming that I owe money—while GoSolr has completely ignored the fact that I already paid the R23 000 de‑installation fee. This entire experience has been extremely frustrating. The service has been pathetic:

Very poor communication No accurate system notes on your side Repeated explanations required every time I call No follow‑through after my payment Incorrect debits despite prior confirmation

This is not the standard of service I expected, and based on this experience, I would not recommend anyone to sign up with your company. I request the following:

Immediate confirmation that my account is fully settled. An urgent reversal or refund of any incorrect debit made after the cancellation. A formal update on the de‑installation date. Removal of any incorrect “outstanding balance” from your systems. A written explanation of how this error occurred and what will be done to prevent it from happening to others.

I look forward to a swift resolution

Hi Nhlanhla,

Thank you for raising this and for setting out your experience so clearly. We fully understand how upsetting this situation feels.

This matter has been escalated internally and is being treated with priority. A senior member of our team will take ownership of the case and make direct contact with you to review the account in full, confirm settlement status, address the incorrect debits, and provide clear feedback on the de-installation process and next steps. The concerns you’ve raised around communication gaps, system notes, and follow-through are being taken seriously and will be reviewed as part of this escalation.

We appreciate you bringing this to our attention publicly and giving us the opportunity to ensure it is properly addressed and resolved.

Kind regards,
The GoSolr Team
