GoSolr Solar Rental turned out Great after a lot of Frustration

I hope this revive will Help people planning to get Solar. The Negative AND the well ended POSITIVE experience. The Provider and the Installers (they are different companies) Like so many things in life it is WHO stands on the other side of the counter. A LOT of people (employees and owners) are Only At Work .... Other only Do THEIR Work.... and a Few Treat other the way THEY WANT TO BE TREATED and HELP....going that extra Mile. This whole proses was BAD and FRUSTRATING but turned out to be ONE of the Best Discissions I made: Already Saving between 50 and 70% on my Electricity Account and that during some of the worst raining periods in Cape Town Weather (July2023)...... AND NO LOAD-SHEDDING. We have the 8kw (Large) We are a household of 4 with an Extra cottage / AirBnB . At a stage The Airbnb used most of the electricity because of Electric Heaters.6kw (6000w) But will rather use a few Panel Heaters on strategic places and gas heater for Intense cold. Have it now for almost 2 weeks and only one night during a LONG and COLD Load-Shedding the batteries shut off 15-20 min before power kicked on again. Planning to get extra battery (R600/m) and 2paniels is only a bit over R200 .... But plan to do that next winter... after Saving on the FREE Electricity coming Summer. Remember the Geyser and Oven still take Electricity. They use to mush Power at a time for the 8kw Inverter... so THAT is only things still connected on ESKOM. Solar Water-geyser or Heatpump will work.

On the point of "Who stands on the other side of the counter." GoSolr people were very friendly and helpful since my first discission to go with GoSolr got an Installation date a week or two after that. Date of Instillation the company "NonStop Solar" arrived just to say they will not be able to install it in MY House (I have a Lite-Steel-Frame House) I did communicate it by photos and in words them a week prior. After a month of only EMPTY promises, Frustration and "sweet-talking" by NonStop Solar's and GoSolr staff and managers. GoSolr that did not even rep**** most of the time.

....Then Lelo Hena of GoSolr called me. Follow-Up...Enquiring. In a less than a week he arranged that the company "Sparki" do my installation. The installation was done by Leon and his team ****son, Sherpard and Tinotenda worked in the rain for two days. They well presented the company "Sparki" but also "LT Pro Worx" I am now living in LUCTURY and do not know when neighbors have load-shedding... but The BEST.... I SAVE a LOT and Sumer will be "FREE" electricity. It is Worth it BY FAR... If you are a single person go for the Med unit... but go for beigest system possible will save you more. The 2 extra panels will help you a lot during darker cloudier days. Eskom power becomes more expensive and you will SAVE a LOT at end of day. I met a lot of people that is NOT interested in a rental unit... they only want to BUY. Even paying it of via Bank Finance is out of my Financial league Now I have a System of well over R100K .. I guess much closer to R200 000 for less than R3 000 a month
