De-installation of solr

If i could rate Go solr a 0 i would. I am extremely disappointed and concerned about the way GoSolr has handled our situation.W have been with Go-solr for more then 2 years. Following a job loss in April, my household experienced severe financial difficulties. I proactively contacted GoSolr by email and telephone several times , in good faith, to explain our circumstances and request a temporary, affordable payment arrangement until I could get back on my feet. I have since returned to work and am trying to resolve the situation responsibly. On 10 September i contacted the legal department and ask to make arrangement, my proposed payment arrangement was rejected because we could not immediately pay the full outstanding arrears which was about R15000 being 5 months in arrears. Our installment is about R2500 a month. I was willing to make a payment of R3,000 and enter into a reasonable arrangement to bring the account up to date, but was told unfortunately I must pay the full outstanding errears or they will collect the system.I was told that the removal of the system will take place on the 30th of September.

What I find particularly unacceptable is that our solar system has been remotely blocked/deactivated since May. We have therefore not been able to use the system or receive electricity from it for months, yet we have continued to be charged the full monthly rental/subscription instalment, They even did the the maintenance two weeks ago on the system. I do not believe it is fair to continue charging a consumer the full monthly amount for a system that has been remotely disabled and from which we are receiving no benefit. The situation has now escalated further. GoSolr has informed us that they intend to de-install the solar system and collect it. This is extremely concerning after the system has already been disabled for months. We are worried about the disruption to our household and any potential damage to our property during the removal process. I want to make it very clear that I am not refusing to pay. I have been actively trying to find a solution and offered R3,000 towards the arrears while requesting a reasonable payment arrangement. Instead of working with us to find a solution, GoSolr has rejected our payment proposal and is proceeding towards de-installation and collection of the system. They are quick to sell you they offers, but the service is utterly poor. I am extremely unhappy 🙁 with Go solr.
