************ Underhanded Fees Charged on top of what we have already paid!!!

You guys have the most embarassing setup for a self titled professional company. We as grads, request a service, pay you upfront and then, wait for our photographs. You then send a notification that our photographs will arrive at our post office for collection, but fail to mention which post office to send the parcel to. We do not receive a notification thereafter from you and the parcel is returned because of non collection. We do not possess psychic powers to know that the parcel is going to a particular post office. I spoke to a consultant at Gordon Harris and they advised that they have sent my photos to the Marine Parade Post office because that is the nearest post office to me. I RESIDE IN PHOENIX!!! The consultant further advised that I will have to pay an additional amount if I want the photos to be re-posted or an even higher fee if I want them to be couriered. How many other people have you done this to? You are de*****ing the people that support you!!! If you do this for 100 clients, then the fee that you charge for your non competence in following instructions and keeping the client properly informed, will create a healthy profit margin for you guys. Stop this unscrupuluos act and send me my photographs, which I have already PAID for!!!

Good Day,

Please note that we used the post address that you completed on your order form, which is your work address in Kingsmead. The Marine Parade Post Office is 2km from the given address.
We at Gordon Harris Photographic, unfortunately do not know which is the nearest post office to each address without tracking the package on the Post Office Track and Trace. This is the reason we email and sms the post notification with your tracking number and the post office link for you to conveniently track your order.

As per the notification sent and delivered to you on 27-03-2018 10:39

Dear Graduate
Your order was posted on the 27/03/2018 Registered mail no RC***ZA. Please allow 5-7 working days for the parcel to arrive at your post office for collection.
For tracking you can phone track and trace on ***or you can track online at http://sms.postoffice.co.za/TrackingParcels/TrackNTrace.aspx?id

Kind Regards
Gordon Harris Photographic

With registered mail, the option that you marked on your form, the post office also sends a collection slip to you with the notification as they did on 04-04-2018 (displayed on the track and trace) They also advise that they will return all packages after 30days if not collected.

From our side we then notify all our clients if a package is returned as a courtesy.

We also keep all returned packages until further arrangements are made, for our clients convenience. We do ask a repost amount of R30 as we repackage the order, new envelope, new stickers and new cardboard, we also pay the post office again for the registered mail postage.

You are welcome to contact us at anytime to arrange either collection or repost, we will gladly assist.

Regards,

GHP

So the Post Office apparently sent me a notification to pick up the parcel, which they did according to you. Do you have confirmation of this? If they had sent me a notification, do you think I would have wasted my time in contacting you guys querying the parcel status. As you said, I have put my work address, but they have sent a collection slip. To whom have they addressed the collection slip to, MY EMPLOYER, I'm assuming. Can you see that your process/system has flaws which need to be addressed. You clearly speak on behalf of the Post Office. Rather speak on behalf of Gordon Harris only. I am clearly getting no where. I would just have to part with my R30. Amount is futile, but I would rather give this amount to a man on the street, then to a company with ************ behavior. Wonder how many other grads you managed to swindle?

Michelle from GHP has made contact with me and re-sent the photographs to a Post Office closer to my residence. She has further emailed and made telephonic contact updating me that the photographs has been re-mailed at NC. The postal services in our country is a real joke as I have been to collect the photographs on three separate occasions and they are unable to locate them. After much deliberation, on my part mostly, I have since collected the photographs. Thank you Michelle. Regards
