I would like to score a - 1.
This company took photographs at my son's graduation. ( They were also the photographers for my other son's graduation at a different University.) This time, however, all we received were photographs of him on stage ( in the distance) with staff. After spending R 600 ( incl. R100 courier fee), you end up without a head and shoulders photo of your child in their graduation gown. To get that, you need to order an additional photo - another R 280. This is a ******* of ridiculous proportions. Multiply that amount by the number of graduating students. This is a deliberate attempt to milk the system. The 'customer service' is absolutely useless and quite arrogant.

As explained over the phone on 17-01-2018. Each institution has the right to choose their own package and which photos form part of this package. At most institutions they chose two stage photos and the Head and shoulder image. However, at WITS they want us to take a Podium photo, capping and banding photo. We take the Head and shoulder images for Alumni purposes and also make it available for the clients to order it should they want that image.
For this reason, we always have samples on display at each ceremony. At WITS it clearly shows that the Head and Shoulder image does not form part of the special.
As you mentioned your son graduated at another institution, that institution does not cap at the graduation so they opt for the Podium, banding and Head and shoulder photos.
In the same conversation we did offer that you can return one of the stage photographs and we can replace it with this Head and shoulder photo, however you said you prefer to order it. We also offered to refund the cost of posting or couriering the photo back to us.
We did our best to accommodate you, however you did choose to order the additional image.
As for the cost you quoted above. The package you ordered was R500 and you opt for the courier delivery of R100. If you order the additional Head and Shoulder image you can order any size form jumbo @ R40 to a poster size. Should you which to order an A4 size print the cost is R100.
