Google play *****s data and money from phone
2 Weeks ago I found that the data on my cellphone had finished. Normally it easily lasts me until the end of the month. So I recharged my data with R100.00 but only used R40.00 of it. My data again finished in a few days. So I went back to recharge, and found that I had no data left. So I recharged with R100.00 and converted all the airtime to data. This lasted me 4 days! Then I found out that Google play was consuming all my data. I deactivated Google play and deleted it. I then recharged with data for R40.00 , but did not use whats app or anything else on my phone. I kept getting smses that my data was slowly being used. within 24 hours my data was once again finished. I phoned virgin who were most unhelpful and accused me of using excessive data on the internet on whats app, which is not the case. They advised me that Google play can do whatever they like and nobody can do anything about it. They are not willing to refund me the money I have "donated" to them and Google play. This amounts to theft.
