Google Family Link broke brand new phone. NO RESPONSE from Google

Google Family Link app broke my child's new phone. We set up the new phone and entered the Family Link Parental Access code. This worked once. When we tried to open the phone the next day, it was Google locked. The Parental Access does not work. We are unable to hard reset the phone as that is blocked too. We are unable to contact Google directly, their support website is not working. Numerious emails to their support hub is not being answered. Phone is completely useless and broken now. Worst experience ever. Couple of thousand rands down the drain.
