Google maps Detours you

And here we are again to complain about google maps! Where our destination was only 20min drive away from our home Google Maps took us a huge detour that was about 40min drive. Google maps are just wasting your data!!!! Your fuel!!!! And your time!!!! I dont know of you guys but !m getting fed up with it!!! Google maps is terrible!!! And they dont give your data the detour?? Like you order food at a restaurant they bring you a empty plate and glass and telling you to enjoy your meal? Getting nothing you paid for.
