Unbearable and Hazardous Road Noise from tyres.

I purchased 4 tyres from HI-Q in Durban this year, they were the Goodyear Efficient Grip as recommended by Hi-Q. I drive a Hyundai Accent and the previous tyres never gave me an issue with road noise. The vehicle is normally very quiet on the road but since having these Good Year tyres installed, driving my vehicle has become nightmare experience. It is even worse when driving on freeways, which I travel on daily as the noise is distracting and unbearable and a road hazard. I have no joy in driving my own vehicle, even with the radio on high the road noise overpowers the radio. I took my vehicle for a full inspection and road test, I was assured this was tyre noise.

I was of the belief Good Year was a premium brand quality tyre and Hi-Q would supply me quality tyres, this was definitely not my experience . When paying a premium price for a premium tyre one would expect quality and customer satisfaction, not my experience.

I believe these are imported tyres of inferior quality sold in South Africa at premium prices, nevertheless I would like these tyres replaced with quality tyres which one would expect from an established International brand such as Good Year or my money back.
