Stay away from Goodyear run flat tyres! Pathetic!

Goodyear run flat tyres is basically a sham. My BMW had a set on, and after getting a nail in our of my tyres, I had to drive home with my supposed run flat tyre. I drove the prescribed 80km/h, but halfway home my other rear tyre (the one that was still fine) had its bead **********. Even worse, the punctured tyre, which would only have needed to be plugged, developed a bulge and had to replace. Thus, instead of only plugging 1 tyre I had to replace 2 tyres at over R6000! When I took this up with Goodyear, they said that the tyres showed no defect and they got damaged because they were driven at low tyre pressures. Isn't that what a run flat tyre is supposed to be able to do??? What a joke! Stay away from Goodyear run flat tyres, and all their tyres in general. They clearly do not care about their client base, and they seem to make subpar products. Pathetic experience!
