Worst service and workmanship ever

My husband bought a brand new tyre from Goodhope Tyres – Grassy Park on the 13th of March 2020 and in less than a month had to start pumping air into the tyre, as it was flat every second day. I wrote you and unfortunately due to the lockdown you were closed, and we had to make an alternate arrangement. A week later one of your competitors replaced the tyre for us and it went well with the new tyre. Until the same problem occurred. We had to put air in every second day. We naturally we took it back and they found that they had not cleaned the rim properly and fixed their mistake. We also managed to bring back your faulty tyre to your Grassy Park workshop on the 28th of April 2020. This is what your workshop manager said to my husband, “The tyre is damaged because he drove with it whilst flat.” Are you kidding me? WHY WAS A BRAND NEW TYRE GOING FLAT IN THE 1ST PLACE???? A brand new tyre cost around R700 and should last at least a year. I had to pay twice because of Goodhope Tyres- Grassy Parks bad workmanship. And then you have the audacity to blame us, the customer. Where do you come on blaming your customer for your failure to offer your best service? It’s lockdown and everyone is suffering, I get that. That does not give any company the right to slack their service delivery. Please tell me who will buy from you again when they hear your brand new tyres last less than a month? I won’t recommend you to any of my friends or family, ever again. I want my refund. I refuse to pay for your bad workmanship. Regards, Ronnelle Kolbie
