Goodhope Tyres: Dishonesty is their best policy

On 18 December 2020 I went to Goodhope Tires in Tokai to have the front shocks installed on my New Era Skyline. I bought the shocks and simply needed them installed. At the Tokai branch I was referred to the Athlone branch. I went to the Athlone branch after lunch. Here the shocks where "installed". I was informed by the technician that the ball joints had to be replaced. I waited some time to save up for the ball joints since I am a pensioner.

I was eventually able to source the ball joints and on 4 February 2021 was able to install them. This time my son in law did the installation in his workshop in Montagu. Here we discovered that the front shocks were never replaced. My shocks that I brought along were clearly ******.

Off course when I brought this to the attention of Goodhope tyres management , they denied it all. I suspect this is how they do business if I read other reviews on HelloPeter. I will never do business with them again. They have ****** from a pensioner and their business will never prosper.
