Driver with earphones in cannot hear when the bus must stop!

<p>Yesterday I took the bus @17:20 that travels out of town (Cape town CDB, Adderley) to Belville Terminals. Before approaching the point where I had to climb off I pressed the button for the bus driver to know to stop at the next bus stop. She drove past my stop and when I approached the window she screamed at me that I must press the button in time and thats when I saw she has her earphones in her ears. How are you as a driver going to hear the signal if you are listening to music while on the job? The worst is is that she made me feel that I am guilty when I pushed the button when I was supposed to. Not just that, but you are putting all the lives on the bus in danger by not being able to hear the cars around you and your full attention not by your duty. Does Golden Arrow still take the safety of their passengers seriously? Or is this a joke?</p>
