Tsogo Sun and Gold Reef City anniversary spoilers

My wife and I would have had our wedding anniversary at Gold Reef City tonight at the Shujaa’s Journey taste of Africa event. Yesterday she received a SMS indicating the event has been cancelled, yet they are still advertising the event on their website. The cancelation has no explanation just a very unfriendly notification and you as the customer are treated like a piece of garbage. The fact that this would have been something specially on our special day means nothing to Gold Reef City and Tsogo sun we are just this hinderance to whatever their issue is. Then to rub sault into the wound we are informed that if we don't get our refund by 19H00 tonight 20 February 2020 we lose the money, so instead of going to dinner we will first have to try and make it on time to get our money back. The fact that they cancel the day for the event and that working people don’t have the luxury to just leave their work to go to computicket to get the refund or they lose their money is an indication of very very bad public relations and customer service. Does this smell like attempted ***** or what "hopefully you don't have the time to get your refund so we keep your money".
