Terrible!!

Yesterday (November 27th 2019) I went to Gold Reef City theme park to have a day filled of thrill for my birthday. This day didn’t turn out how I planned what so ever! First we got there and the line at the entrance wasn’t long but took forever due to the fact that there were only three tellers open when there are seven or eight tellers in total. Secondly we went to go get something to eat at the Oldees Diner within the park, we waited 20 minutes before our drinks order was taken and then a further 30 minutes to actually receive the drinks, but my friend had to go inside to ask where our drinks were because for at least 15 of those 30 minutes we saw our drinks standing on the bar inside, so she ended up bringing them out for us. I don’t know how many staff work there but for how busy it was our waitress (Which seemed to be the only one) had been running around the whole time we sat there but as it was too much to handle she gave our table to the other waitress. Which brings me to my third point - this waitress was no where to be seen and didn’t seem to care about any of her tables at all! We waited so long to give in our food order but my friend ordered the Prego special and before my mom and I could give our food order the waitress had disappeared. My friends food had arrived before my mom and I have even placed our food order. We also then waited 40 minutes for our food, the waitress didn’t care at all that we were unhappy. This specific waitress also stood and had fat conversations with other tables, while the other waitress was running around working so hard to keep all her tables happy and she successfully did that as I saw all her tables didn’t wait terribly long for their food or drinks. Once we had eventually paid the bill We walked to start goin on rides it started raining so there for the rides all closed... so with that said we paid R215 a person to do nothing at Gold Reef City Theme Park due to the horrible service at the Oldees Diner. This is honestly DISGUSTING Gold Reef City!
