SCEPTICAL ABOUT DRAWS!

I am very sceptical about the way draws are done these days, I get 1 ticket stating I have 17 tickets and then I have 1 number??? I would really appreciate someone explaining to me exactly how these draws actually work, how are the numbers produced??!! I dont understand that every time I get a ticket it starts with 815 or 814 and these numbers are NEVER called?? It either starts with a 0 or a 1 or a 5, really I think this is very open to *******ion!!! I would much rather have my 17 tickets issued, which I personally put into a tombola and a human being drawing the tickets out of the tombola that to me is far more legitimate. How on earth can I have one number but I have 17 tickets what a load of nonsense maybe if someone explains to me how on earth this works I might be able to understand. Never mind that every draw I have been to my one number, for 17 tickets, is no where close!!! Come on guys where are the numbers pulled from and how do I know (proof) that my number eg 815-009-006 has been loaded into the so-called \machine"or whatever is used!!! Also would that number then be in the \""machine\"" 17 times or 30 times or however many tickets I may have?? Confusing! Explain"""
