TSOGO SUN Casinos (Goldreef)
For those who want to spend the day at Gold Reef Casino and for those who wonder why the casino is mostly quiet/ empty. Casinos don't rig the slot machines, although the slot Machines can be set on how winnings are paid out. Tsogo sun Gold reef have set there slots to the highest favorable for the casino as a result the casino has been seeing less and less customers due to there greed. I regularly go there for some sort of entertainment and with some hope of maybe walking off with a little something in my pocket. A year and a half ago I could do just that, most times walked off with a loss but was able to spend quite a few hours ther playing different slots and tables, it was entertaining. But those days are gone. I am lucky to spend more than a hour there before money runs out. There is no thrill or entertainment there any more. Now let's talk about the rewards that Tsogo sun have implemented. Before the new cards/point system came out I was a Black card holder, one of the top cards, now I'm a Jack of spaids ( 4th from the top) I thought never mind I'll work my way up again to the top card. Withing a month they have removed +- 7000 points just because I didn't go to Gold Reef during the December period.
Let's sum up Gold Reef doesn't offer the entertainments any more due to greed. The road the exits the casino has pothols and is a perfect example of how guests are treated, we got your cash now damage your car on the way out. "Regards GOLD REEF CITY CASINO"
Gold reef doesn't pay out anymore. Gold reef rewards don't offer anything for people to work towards. Gold reef hospitality has also dropped where by the customers are constantly harrased by security.
So it doesn't pay to be loyal to any casino because they don't care if you come or don't they sowed me first by dropping me on the rewards card when the changed and now again by taking points for being away during the festive season.
It is no wonder why Gold Reef is basically empty 80 percent of the time.
The more greedy they get the more people don't want to go. The more they spend on running costs for an empty casino.
Gamblers don't expect to win all the time, but the do expect to win some times and that's just not happenning, you can see that by how many people visit and that has change drastically over the last year and a half.
Now that's how you run a business in the ground.
So as a ex Gold reef Casino supporter, well done.
I wonder if it is just Gold reef or other Tsogo sun casinos. Well I'll be visiting the others because Gold reef has let everyone down from an exciting entertainment point of view.
