I almost fell out of my seat

I went to Gold Reef City Theme park on Sunday for My Stepdaughters Birthday we decided to try out the boat that goes around ( not sure what the name is) and I almost fell out of my seat, If it was not me pushing my legs tight against the seat I would have fallen out. When we stopped the ride I still showed the people how loose the safety cushion is it could literally go at least 30 Cm forward not securing me at all. I was so shocked I did not even stay to see what happened further. I know the lady got in and tested it again and it was still faulty and another customer stood there wanting to see that it is fixed before he gets on the ride. I am still shocked at the safety of this ride all i kept thinking what if someone younger and smaller got in there they would have fallen out.
