Horrible Experience at Gold Reef City
We arrived at Gold Reef City at 8:20 on Saturday 12th October. The queuewas atleast 50m long already. Once the gates opened at 9am we rushed to one of the rides, only to be told it opens at 9:30… 3 of the main rides were not working plus the queues were atleast 50-100m long by 10:30. I believe that the theme park selling way too many tickets and they are more interested in profit than actually client satisfaction! It was a horrible experience.

Please note that some rides have staggered opening times to ensure all safety checks are completed before opening the ride to the public. The rides that are currently under maintenance are listed on our website and we are working to have them up and running soon. The maintenance on these rides is necessary to ensure the smooth running of the rides and guest's safety. We can assure you that we do not allow more that the maximum requirement of guests at the park and we do close bookings for days that are sold out.
