Gold Reef City Amu*****t Park

<p>My grandchildren were here from Zimbabwe (where they have no children entertainment) and we promised to take them to Gold Reef City while they were here. The only day we had was Sunday 8th January. It was raining first thing int he morning but then cleared up but was overcast. We decided to take a drive (from Benoni) to GRC to see if the Park was open. It was. We asked if the rides were working as it looked quiet. They told us that there were a couple of rides that were NOT working. Only a COUPLE not working ?......so we decided to go in. Family of four plus two grandparents. We paid FULL Price and when we got in found that only 2 rides were working out of the whole park. The Anaconda and the water boat slide. After we had done those two we walked around looking for another ride.....nothing....so went back to the Anaconda to find that it had closed, and that was 3pm in the afternoon. We were SO dissapointed and felt ****** as it is not cheap to go in. They could have told us at the gate that there were only two rides and that they were closing early and perhaps only charged us half price. I really think that we should be offered our money back or at least complimentary tickets so that next time the children come down they can at least enjoy it there. I did write an email to them on their web site, but no reply.</p>
