Poor Service

My mother invested over R12,000.00 to Gold Investment Corp and when she asked for the money back she was told that she needs to come in and wont get the money back. I have been trying to get a hold of them since 2014 and with no luck, this was an investment that happened from 2012 till 2014.They even stopped sending her statements, I don't know where else to go. Her friend invested R15,000.00 and was offered only half of that, I have been searching through her belongings looking for the contract and nothing was sent. The sales pitch lady advised that this was a 'Mandela coin' investment.

Good day

The account was not written off, no contract was provided. She signed no contract, Peter Mavuso informed me that he will call me back once he has all the feedback. She went in for an assessment and was advised that someone will contact her if it was approved. She is not the only person who invested money in this, I have 3 other individuals that have a complaint which I did not want to mention. How can there be a contract when there was no signed document?. My uncle invested R15,000.00 and was offered only R7,000.00 and his friend R27,000.00 and the society R50,000.00. You leave me with no other choice but to take the legal route. A contract was supposed to be emailed, the call recording where she requested to cancel and none of that was provided. I called Peter on the 30-06-2021 and left a message to call me back and he did not. I still have the information of the lady that did the pitch and I am not happy with how this is being dealt with.
