My experience with godaddy was utterly pathetic to say the least.

Tried to renew our domain with godaddy after it expired within 5days. Talked to an agent that indicated I need to pay a REDEMPTION fee of R1179 that should be added to the renewal price of R147. After pointing out that THEIR policy states otherwise he then miraculously s****ped the redemption fee but then indicated the normal renewal price will be R1493 for 1 year. There was no basis provided to how they got to this price and only indicated it was market value. This company is absolutely absurd and should not be considered for any services towards your company. My recommendation would be to avoid working with godaddy
