GoDaddy is *************

On the 20/11/2021 I was sent a email telling me that my Domain and email account would be renewed on the 26/11/2021 as it was 6 day's before the renewal I signed into my GoDaddy account and deleted the domain and email account as I was not using them, on deleting the products GoDaddy asked me if I was sure I wanted to delete the products and by deleting the products I would lose the Domain, email account with all emails and licenses attached to them, I said yes and the products were deleted.

I then got a email confirmation on deleting the domain and email account and I made sure I didn't have anything showing up in my GoDaddy account concerning the products I deleted. As my account showed this, I was free from the renewal with no products showing on my account.

Today the 26/11/2021 I get a notification from my bank telling me GoDaddy has removed funds from my account for a renewal of my email account, so I called the 24/7 support line and spoke to a helpful gentleman, he goes on to inform me that I did indeed delete the email account and domain, but I still have a license for the email address and that is what I paid for. But I told him that there is nothing been shown on my GoDaddy account, why was it not deleted when I deleted the products, his reaction was that the license is hidden only support can see the license and that the client has to call support to remove it.

There is no info on the website telling clients about hidden licenses or that you need to call support to delete products, this is completely wrong, and now I don't trust this company and nor should you, I was told that I would be getting a refund but it would take 3-5 working days to be fulfilled, this is bull **** as I did not know the license was hidden, this is what makes me angry about these sort of companies, they will take your money now, but if it was a error, you have to wait 3-5 working day's to get it back. Why????

DON'T TRUST GODADDY, Thankfully I have now gone thru this and know about it, I will now be informing all my clients worldwide, friends and family not to use GoDaddy but to find another company to get their domains and email accounts from, you should do the same.
