Unfair and inconsistent policy

Not a very good company to do business with.I have different experiences with all branches,but the annoying one is Sandton branch.Whilst I acknowledge that companies have policies,but surely the same should apply across the entire organisation.I went to the Sandton branch and was annoyed to be informed that no car key will be handed over to me or security for purposes of inspection.I have been to all their branches and this rule has never been app****.When the premises were still occupied by SMD,I made a vow never to visit any SMD branch again.I therefore observed that Gobid Sandton is simply upholding those arbitrary rules that SMD used to apply to potential buyers.Buying a car on auction especially a non starter is no mean feat and therefore requires a thorough inspection.

Another policy that does not make sense is the allowed time of 5 minutes to view a car.Who in his right mind views and buys a car in 5 minutes.In some cases,one can take more than 5 minutes to find a car that one saw on the company website.

Lastly,if one pays a deposit in order to bid,one is required to make a pay and clear if the paying bank is different from Gobid's bankers.If you do not place a bid and requests a refund,you wait for 7 days or more for the refund to be processed.If Gobid insists on an immediate payment,then the same should apply when I request a refund or the refund should be processed in at least 48 hours.

I am therefore making the same vow that I made to SMD never to do business with GOBID.
