Polo sold with incorrect engine

Good day I recently purchased non runner vw polo sedan in may 2024 When the vehicle arrived at my workshop i noticed it had an incorrect engine fitted which did not correspond on the registration document Gobid refused to accept liability that they did not disclose the engine was changed if i had known engine was incorrect i would not have purchased the polo
