<div>I bought a vehicle online Gobid . The unit was presented as Ford Figo 1.4 Ambient . Only to fight out the motor fitted was TDCI . The unit was stated as non-runner , what is behind the hood was far beyond non runner , WHY NOT DISCLOSING FOR for online bidders .The engine was halfway fitted , parts hanging , wires rodent damaged , water pipes broken , some parts missing . Engine numbers different .. (police clearance) .I called the call centre , the call centre agent advised me to send an e mail . I sent mails they never got back to me. I had to drive to one of the deport a week later . The advise was , Gobid will take the vehicle as consignment stock .?????? . How can I as client be penalized for their misrepresentation . My request was for them to take their vehicle back , I bid for something else . Their business quality leaves me with a ???</div>
In this case, the additional photos advertised on the website clearly showed that the vehicle had parts missing and were photographed in and around the vehicle. When referring back to the additional images, there is a clear image of the engine showing it is a TDCI, so irrespective of whether or not you were able to view the vehicle in person, it is clear that you were purchasing a diesel.
For this reason, in this case, GoBid cannot be liable, but we understand that you are not happy with your purchase. This is why we have offered to sell the vehicle on consignment for you without reserve. If this is not acceptable, you are welcome to seek out alternative options for yourself.
