Handling fee
I bought a car from Gobid, upon receiving my cars papers, there was only one document in the package, I then contacted gobid and asked what was the document handling fee of R2500 for and I was told it was for change of ownership and delivery of the document, which doesn't make sense, because change of ownership is R204 and delivery of the document is R150, so why charge us a fee of R2146 all they can say it's in there terms and conditions, so there terms and conditions is to rob us. I don't mind paying fee as long as it is justified... in this case they can't even justify the R2146 that the rob from each and every customer

22 May 2024, 10:22All buyers have to accept our Terms and Conditions before bidding. Our T&C clearly indicate that we will charge R2500 ex VAT for all change of ownership on vehicles sold by GoBid. If you were unhappy with this arrangement, you should not have placed a bid. Our fees are a handling fee to cover the multiple processes and security checks we follow in order to ensure ownership is changed correctly. It is not simply to cover the cost of change of ownership.
