Cool head needed to win at GoBid
GoBid Buying Experience Needs a Calm Head to Navigate It.
I have bought at least 12 cars from them with different outcomes. Out of the 12 cars maybe about 6 were satisfactory purchases. The other 6 let me say I have learned my lesson.
Firstly, tread carefully buying a vehicle with a WeBuyCars sticker found on the floors of GoBid. You will regret it as there is a reason why it came there. It could not be sold at WBC because of serious malfunctions and it was returned by the customer. Enter at your own risk there because I have burnt my fingers plenty with buying WBC found at GoBid.
Secondly, it is always advised to go view the vehicles you are interested in buying so that you are not shocked. If you are not competent in cars don't risk it and get a technical person do so on your behalf.
Thirdly, read their terms and conditions in full so that you are fully versed in how they operate.
Fourthly, it is an addictive website. Be careful with compulsive buying on that site. I speak from experience. That back n forth bidding experience on their platform is exciting but at the same time can be addictive, I am one of those addicted to it and it took a while to admit so. Winners know when to stop.
Fifthly, my request from the company would be to list the conditions of the cars in full. More like WBC dekra report that list more or less the problems with the vehicle. Things like oil leaks etc. The company has grown and they are in a position to provide such information.
Finally, GoBid has made car buying more accessible and affordable for many buyers like us. Bargains can be found when doing diligent work but reckless decisions can hurt you badly. Take heed of what I wrote here and enjoy the experience.
