Never GhostX again
Follow-up feedback regarding the removing of Ghost X from my Landcruiser V8. After four years of absolute frustration with an unreliable product installed on my vehicle, having had endless failure and throttle unresponsiveness after a second unit failed as the unit activate and armed itself whilst driving, either offroad or on highways, I am officially GhostX free at last, and I have my vehicle back without engine lights coming on and having to pull off and stop, to reset and calibrate, with an installer that is just continually keeping me ransom and finding every excuse under the sun trying to convince me to keep this unreliable product, and had to pay after all this for them to uninstall and remove it from my vehicle. Never again, please don't consider this anti-theft product, it is not performing as advertised.

Ghost X unreliable
Terrible experience, I installed the unit in 2022 on my new Landcruiser, it failed numerous times, as the unit became faulty after a year, went back to them, and they moved the unit to a different location, but it kept on switching my engine light on, and no throttle, whilst I'm driving. As I'm using the vehicle on Safari, I had some very intense moments in Botswana, as it failed a few times as I needed to move away from elephants. My vehicle was a few times at their workshop, where they replaced the unit with another unit, as the found the first installed unit was indeed faulty. I asked them to remove Ghost entirely, as I have no trust in their product, the salesman convinced me to let them install another unit, and this unit started acting up since May this year. After numerous whattsapps and communication and having installed a Smart radio at a heck of an expense, where they could not get my steering wheel to communicate and eventually had to take it to another shop to get it resolved, Planetron distributors in Centurion, now want me to pay for labor to remove their Ghost installation after all the failures and unreliability. I have spoken to friends of mine who is experiencing the same issues with their units. I certainly do not recommend this product, as it is unreliable to say the least. Has anyone else experience similar failures on their Ghost?

May I please have my money back and you take your budget please.
I am following up on the feedback regarding the impact of Ghost X car immobilizer on the car engine. In January thid year I contacted Ghost X to request clarity on the Power Train Light On, which let me to pay R1,400+ to Ford and I have paid another R1,127 yesterday to Ford again for the same diagnostics for Power Train Light On. Please tell me if this is normal or not? I resorted to Ghost X because I was avoiding monthly payments for car tracking and now I am continuing to pay for the errors on my car to be removed. May I please have my money back and you take your budget please.
