Misleading Advertising – 30-Day Supply Lasted Only 23 Days
Writing Title: Misleading Advertising – 30-Day Supply Lasted Only 23 Days! I am extremely disappointed with Gloot and the way my complaint has been handled. I purchased their product based on it being advertised as a 30-day supply. I followed the instructions and used one level scoop per day, using the measuring scoop provided. Despite this, the product lasted only 23 days, leaving me seven days short. When I raised my concern with Gloot, I was told that even slightly over-scooping could affect the number of servings and that a kitchen scale should be used for accurate measurements. My question is simple: Why provide consumers with a measuring scoop if using it as instructed does not reliably provide the advertised 30 servings? Gloot has repeatedly referred to its manufacturing quality controls and the weight of the product. However, that does not address my complaint. My concern is about what was advertised, the instructions provided and what I actually received. In my opinion, this is misleading advertising and raises serious concerns about misrepresentation. If a kitchen scale is necessary to achieve the advertised 30 servings, consumers should be told this upfront, before purchasing the product. I also find it disappointing that Gloot has focused on suggesting that I may have over-scooped, despite my repeatedly explaining that I followed the instructions. Consumers have a right to clear, accurate and transparent product information so they can make informed purchasing decisions. This is particularly important when purchasing a product that is not inexpensive. I am sharing my experience to make other consumers aware. Gloot needs to review its advertising and product instructions to ensure that customers know exactly what they are paying for. A product advertised as a 30-day supply should reasonably provide 30 days of use when the supp**** instructions are followed. Consumers deserve transparency, honesty and value for their money.
