Why did Autopage sell over to Glocell?

My story.... I am currently a client with Glocell, and used to be one with Autopage for 12 years, 6 x 24months upgrades without no problems, and if there were, it was sorted out professionnaly. I have 2 contracts with Glocell namely my mobile and my 2G Smart data account. Both to had to be upgraded this year. In July, the 2G was updated after waiting 2 months for the device to be delivered at the correct address, due to their misspell, could not even spell Germiston correctly, it was delivered. The new 2G will start on the 1st October this year. In the meantime I had to use my old contract, but with endless problems. Firstly, after several phonecalls and assistance, I could not use the new sim but the old one, after using the data for nearly 2 weeks this month, the number was deactivated, Cell C no Service, I have not used the data further because of their strange billing system. After several phone calls with the upgrade, I cancelled the upgrade, but reinstated the same number afterwards, feeling downhearted to not have Internet access like I used to have. Today, I phone in 3 times, and due to high volume calls, the phone was picked up in their Customer Care Services but no hello to me, and I could here the ladies laughing and chatting away.... the 3rd time the line was cut off. I have tried online to log my query and that did not even go through to them. Only option was another email to them, and got the logged ticket immediately back, and with all the mails sent to them, nobody has ever came back to me with a word of advice or can we help you, or the problem has been resolved. An amount of R 444 was also charged on my 2G smartdata for exceeding the data, no way, I monitored and if I used up 2048MB, I switch over to my prepaid MTN Internet to prevent extra charges. No answer there as well. My bill should have been around R600 and this month R 1010.00. This is with sadness to complain, but to upgrade for another 24 months in December on the mobile makes me think twice. It would have been my 14year on this mobile number ********** . Please help or give me advice?

Thank you

Lynette

Okay, after trying yesterday to phone three times, I managed to speak to a consultant about my so call new contract, and the number was still deactivated and wow will immediately take it up with the Supervisor and come back to me...yeah right.... This morning I tried four times to speak to Customer Care, NO ANSWERING, HIGH CALL VOLUMES.,,, THEN CUTOFFS. Keep in mind, the debitorder has gone off. How am I going to resolve this, to get their attention and a contract that is working???? Should I Twitter or post on Facebook as well???
