Unable to cancel / migrate to prepaid since 2016

Good day

I have been trying to cancel my contract with glocell since November 2016. I was a customer of AutoPage, when they closed my contract was passed onto glocell. My contract was actually concluded on July 2016, I was never informed by glocell to renew my contract, nor have I signed any contract with glocell. According to the CPA that was already not allowed.

Never the less I went to your Westwood store in Durban to do a cancellation in November 2016, I spoke the the shop manager Sheldon Govender, who then assisted me in filling in the termination form. I was told that by the end of December my contract will be canceled and migrated to prepaid.

2017 January I called the store again to find out why my contract is till active, I was assisted by Shaylin Govender the assistant manager and was told that the termination did not go through. I had to resubmit the termination letter again and will be terminated by the end of January 2017

2017 February my contract is still active, when I asked Shaylin why my contract is still active I was told that he does not know why, on his system its cancelled but not on the headoffice. I was once again assured that by the end of February my contract will be cancled and migrated to prepaid.

2017 March, this time Sheldon the store manager answered. I explained the situation once again, only to find out that no termination was submitted in November 2016 and the termination submitted in January is invalid and so its best to resubmit a termination letter again wait another 30 days to find out if it has gone through. Once again I was told there is nothing they can do to assist, I was given a ticket number " ********** 9" I have even mailed ********** with the termination letter etc, but I have had no response from anyone so far.

Please asssit with matter urgently as glocell is trapping its customers, if there is no resolution in sight then I would have no choice but to take it up with the CPA.

Regards

Xinwei Sun
